Transferring your CNA License from 1 State to another

If you've gotten your certification and you're now a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) congratulations! You should be proud of yourself and your accomplishment. Now comes the hard part; finding a job as a CNA in a hospital or other healthcare facility.

If you’re lucky and you live in a State where there are plenty of CNA positions available great, you’re going to have a lot less work finding a position. If however you live in a State where there are fewer CNA jobs (or maybe almost none) you’re going to want to start looking in other states for work and that is going to require that you transfer your CNA license and certificate to whatever state that you eventually end up in. This can be a long and sometimes tedious process but it is absolutely vital if you want to work in a state other than the one where you got your certification.
